Slow Art: Clay Handbuilding with Encantaro, led by Mia Angel/@encantaro in partnership with St.Plant/@st.plant
Handbuilding is a slow and meditative process of manipulating clay using just your hands and a few tools. Mia Angel from Encantaro Ceramica will guide this two-hour class and walk you through three essential handbuilding techniques: pinch, coil, slab.
This is a great opportunity to (re)connect directly with clay as an art medium, build your very own art pieces, and establish a strong foundation for future ceramic endeavors. All skill-levels are encouraged to join us.
Clay and tools will be provided. Please come dressed in something you don't mind getting a little dirty.
